This form may be used to apply to the Court to confirm one or more resolutions passed by owners in Māori Freehold Land or General Land owned by Māori who together are members of the same family and who have taken the opportunity to meet together following a family gathering (such as tangi, wedding or reunion).

There are perhaps 20 or 30 large and successful trusts and incorporations, which are an exception to this. The fact that Māori do not live on or receive substantial income from Māori land has not diminished the importance of that land in cultural terms.
CONSENT If the land is vested in a trust or Māori incorporation, they must consent to the occupation order.
