the Registrar in the District in which the land is
located;
(ii) Please ensure that all information required
on the form is completed;

(a) The Registrar will seal a certificate confirming the mortgage, however, the
Registrar will not issue the certificate until:
i. One month has expired from the date the certificate is sealed; or
ii.
The failure of the report to place the Act and its predecessors in their historical
context is a further significant omission. Māori land is one of the most legislated
subjects in our parliamentary history.
