TAKE NOTICE that the Directors of St Georges By the Sea Limited (Directors being Dorothy
Jane Newton, Edward Harold Brassey Newton and Linda Susan Newton) has made
application to the Māori Land Court at Whanganui for a meeting of PARIHAKA NO 20 BLOCK
seeking:

Tikanga Māori is defined in Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 (the Māori Land Act) as “Māori Customary
rights and values”.
Chief Judge Fox was appointed as a Māori Land Court judge on 1 October 2000, and shortly thereafter was appointed as the Presiding Officer of the Waitangi Tribunal’s Central North Island district inquiry in 2001.

the Hāwea/Wānaka Substitute Land (Section 2 of 5 Block XIV Lower Wānaka Survey
District) under Section 15 of the Ngāi Tahu Deed of Settlement 1997.
