Māori Land Court | Judge’s Corner
Judge D J Ambler
Review of Te Ture Whenua Act 1993
Introduction
At the beginning of April this year the Associate Minister of Māori Affairs released the
Review Panel’s report into Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993.
The period covered has been one of change for the Court, with the introduction of the new PātakaWhenua system to support Court kaimahi, judges and landowners.
A large amount of our record is accessible using our online portal, PātakaWhenua. However, there are some records that are only available for viewing in hard copy at our offices, and some that are too fragile to be viewed at all.
