No one, though, can be appointed or continue to be a member who is or becomes: • subject to a compulsory treatment order made under Part II of the Mental Health Act 1992 • a bankrupt who has not been discharged • convicted of any offence punishable by imprisonment for a term of six months or more, unless that sentence has been served.
