Seeking Registered Owners
MĀORI LANDBLOCK
SECTION 2, BLOCK VII, ALTON
SURVEY DISTRICT
The Trustees of the Ahu Whenua Trust, who administer
this Māori landblock, are seeking to make contact with all
registered owners.
Use this form to apply to the Court for a partition of Māori Land or the combined partition of Māori and General Land
to separate out owner’s shares into new land titles.
The eyes were picked out of Aotearoa’s available land by successive Native Land Court regimes and rapidly converted to European land in the 19th and 20th Centuries.
What you need to know:
• You can include Māori land, general land, or both.
• You can include land regardless of its location (for example, the blocks do not need to be
located next to each other)
Use this form to create an Ahu Whenua Trust (a land trust) by vesting one or more landblocks in trustees to
manage, as set out in a trust deed/order on behalf of the beneficial owner(s).
