Court staff cannot refuse an application – that is a registrarial duty. REGISTRAR “Registrar” is defined in the Māori Land Court Rules 2011 as “a Registrar of the Māori Land Court; and, unless the context otherwise requires, includes the Chief Registrar and a Deputy Registrar”.
