Rule 5.11(2)(b) of the Māori Land Court Rules 2011 states that a report must be produced and made available to the public of all applications filed in the Māori Land Court that are six months or older and where a final decision has not yet been made on that application.

If you can, please bring with you your whānau contact details and signatures, the required supporting documents, and the filing fee. You can pay the application fees by EFTPOS or cash.

You can bring whānau with you to court to support you and your application.  If you are a whānau or hapū member who did not submit the application but would like to speak in Court, you can file a ‘ Notice of intention to appear upon application ’.

You can use the management structure search option if you know either the organisation name, organisation ID, organisation type, district, file reference, state, or a combination of these.

If you have a current application in the Māori Land Court that is being delayed by a dispute, you can ask for your application to be put on hold while you attempt to settle the dispute outside of court.
