That information makes up the MāoriLand Court record, which is the legal and official documentation of land ownership of whenua Māori.

MĀORILAND COURT CONTACT DETAILS
Applications should be lodged with the Registrar in the MāoriLand Court District in which some or all of the lands or the subject matter
of the application is located.
If an owner of Māori freehold land in multiple ownership has paid more than their share of water services changes, they can apply to the MāoriLand Court for a “charging order” to recover the excess amount paid.
This form may be used by the executor(s)/administrator(s) of an estate to certify those persons entitled to the Māori
freehold land interests held by the estate, and/or in the case of a deceased Māori, any GeneralLand intrests.
This form may be used to apply to the Court to confirm one or more resolutions passed by owners in Māori Freehold
Land or GeneralLand owned by Māori who together are members of the same family and who have taken the
opportunity to meet together following a family gathering (such as tangi, wedding or reunion).
