In 2022, with the adjustment of the rules
under the Protection Framework, the Court held
a series of special sittings to celebrate the appoint-
ment of these three new judges with their whānau,
colleagues and friends. All events were auspicious
occasions with people travelling from far and wide
to attend the sittings.
To finish the evening, all the performers,
their friends and whānau joined together to sing
the waiata “Tō Aroha”, before ending the night
with everyone sharing some delicious kai.
