The Māori Land Court is notifying all owners of the above block about the following meeting of assembled owners: Whenua: Otonga 3 DATE: Saturday 16 August TIME: 2 pm Chatham Islands time (1:15pm New Zealand time) VENUE: The Den, Norman Kirk Memorial Reserve, Chatham Islands Kaupapa: The Seymour whānau resolve to seek the full partition of the Otonga 3 block into 2 separate titles, as represented on the sketch plan provided.

Historically, trust applications were heard by a Māori Land Court judge. Now, if your application is assessed to be ‘simple and uncontested’, then it can be decided by a Māori Land Court registrar without a court sitting (unless you request to be heard by a judge in a court sitting).
