By memorandum dated 28th of August 2026 Mr Tootill noted that he had that day
received instructions to act for Susan Waetford, the executor of the estate to Trevor
Te Kupenga Treanor. Mr Tootill seeks an adjournment of the hearing for at least one
week in order to familiarise himself with the history of the matter, to review the
documents filed and to seek full instructions from the executor.

I know this is a problem, and in my view primarily a matter of banks becoming educated in the Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993.
