Personally, being able to serve by assisting Māori to achieve their aspirations for their whenua and presiding over claims by Māori under the Treaty of Waitangi is a great honour. Delegations of authority 6.1 A chairperson who cannot attend a meeting may delegate the role to another trustee. 6.2 The trustees may co-opt people to assist them with any aspect of business, but a co-opted member may not vote.
