This visit provided an opportunity to reciprocate the hospitality extended to Judge Armstrong dur- ing his attendance at the Legal Aid Foundation conference on the rights of indigenous peoples in Taiwan. The students were given a guided tour of the Māori Land Court in Whangarei, followed by an insightful presentation from Judge Armstrong on the history and significance of the Māori Land Court.
