The office is spread over three floors with reception and research facilities on the ground level, Te Rā Tau, mediation and meeting rooms and staff office space on Level 1, Te Rā Pae, and the courthouse and the judicial chambers on Level 2.

The Māori Land Court has released an updated working list of potential owners entitled to
the Toitoi Land (Crown Land Block VIII Lords River Survey District) under Section 15 of
Ngāi Tahu Deed of Settlement 1997.
The respondents are the trustees of the Hanataua AhuWhenuaTrust. The matter was heard in the Aotea Māori Land Court, by Judge A H C Warren and Dr Ruakere Hond, in Whanganui on 1 and 2 September 2022 in both languages and with the aid of a te reo Māori interpreter.
