What does this mean for you?
If you file an application to the Māori Land Court or the Māori Appellate Court on or after 1 July 2025 , you will notice an increase in the fee you need to pay.
This schedule does not include applications that have been set down for hearing, are before the
Court for determination, have been determined by the Court and/or are awaiting release of any
decision, determination or order of the Court.

You can bring whānau with you to court to support you and your application. If you are a whānau or hapū member who did not submit the application but would like to speak in Court, you can file a ‘ Notice of intention to appear upon application ’.
