minutes of a whānau meeting if a whānau trust is required,
and consents of the proposed trustees.
For any such appeal or rehearing:
(a) Where a lawyer has been appointed on application by a party, a new application
must be filed in advance of any appeal or rehearing.

• The trustees can only grant a lease or occupation
licence of the land for a term of up to 14 years (including
renewals), unless the lease or occupation licence is for
education, health or papakāinga housing, in which case
there is no time limit
