Our Māori Land Update is released annually and provides:
the number of customary and freehold titles of Māori land
the number and types of management structures and the size of the land they are responsible for managing.
You can search to find trusts, incorporations, Māori reservations as well as other types, and will
be able to find information on:
• the overview of the organisation’s management structure,
• members of the management structure,
• ownership details,
• contact details for the administrator (if available).
If you have a current application before the Court, you will need to email your details to MLC.Trustee.Training@justice.govt.nz to ensure you complete the training before your Court hearing.
Over the years, Piri has worked in service of her people in Whanganui including Awa FM, Te Oranganui Iwi Health Authority, Te Puna Matauranga o Whanganui and the Whanganui River Māori Trust Board.
In the last 10 years, Piri has worked at the Māori Land Court in Whanganui and has recently been added to the MLC Leadership Team.
