There is significant variation in how district registry offices maintained trust files with some

The Māori Land Court will conduct a hearing
about the application. The Court cannot
make Court orders 5 to set the land aside as
a Māori reservation.
Incorporations appear to have fallen out of favour and I know of only one that has been formed in the last 20 years. In contrast new ahu whenua trusts for the management of Māori freehold land are regularly setup through the Māori Land Court.
