The Honourable Willie Jackson, Minister for Māori Development made a formal announcement on 22 March 2023: New appointment to Māori Land Court bench | Beehive.govt.nz My congratulations, and congratulations on behalf of the Māori Land Court, to Judge Thomas.
The annual report reflects on what was an extremely busy year for the court. The judiciary and the staff of the seven Māori Land Court registries have been working hard to move through the backlog of cases before the Court, there have been new judicial appointments anda host of activity has been undertaken to improve the service provided to Māori landowners.
After further consultation, the rescheduled dates are as follows:
