Pātaka Whenua, the Māori Land Court’s new online portal, launched in June 2023. In Pātaka Whenua, landowners can find information about their whenua, search the court record, and apply to the court directly online.
The funding is for clean-up of sediment & debris, where mahi has already been completed (either by owners or by contractors) and for any similar mahi to be completed in the future. In the meantime, Court kaimahi continue to work to provide support and assistance to Māori, and our judges continue to issue robust and timely judgments, as shown in the report.
