The conduct of these proceedings would not have been possible without the foresight and commitment of landowners and the growing desire to have the status and role of te reo Māori recognised and living in all aspects of day-to-day life, including the Māori Land Court.
The period covered has been one of change for the Court, with the introduction of the new Pātaka Whenua system to support Court kaimahi, judges and landowners.
To date, the programme delivered business transformation for the Māori Land Court, including legislative changes, a new operating model, and streamlined business processes.
