The matter was referred to Judge Isaac for further direction. Following consideration of Mr
Monk’s availability and the Court’s hearing schedule, Judge Isaac directed that the Judicial
Conference be brought forward to 3 December 2026 at 2.00 pm, which will enable Mr Monk
to participate by online means while allowing the matter to be accommodated within the
Court’s hearing schedule.
If you already had an application with the Māori Land Court and dispute resolution was recommended by a judge or registrar after a court hearing, the judge or registrar can refer the unresolved issues back to mediation or court for further consideration.
