However, section 338(12) is a barrier to that form of financing on papakāinga reservations. There are not many options for people wishing to build on papakāinga reservations but who need to borrow in order to do so.
If you think that you have been
adversely affected by this process and wish to make representations on the application, you must notify the
Court in writing by 4 pm on the 1st day of November 2022 and specify brief details of your concerns. The Court
may, if it cannot otherwise address those concerns, order that the application be reheard.
Part of that includes exposing harassment, in whatever form, when you see it. But it also includes taking active steps to promote your own health and well-being.
