In addition, where the Court insists on compliance with trustees’ duties adverse comment is sometimes made of the Court’s perceived unjustified intervention.
Your key duties as a trustee are to:
continue to grow the value of the land or shares without creating significant costs
protect the assets of the trust.

I undertake to familiarise myself with the trust order/deed or regulations associated with the trust;
I will properly carry out my duties as a trustee; and
I am 20 years of age or older.

Email the completed and signed application to the Duty Registrar, along with the completed
and signed fee waiver, or provide a screenshot of the digital payment transaction (e.g.,
internet or mobile banking) as proof of payment.
To support these changes, the Ministry of Justice is updating its advice to those who
are summoned for jury duty.
The modified Jury Trial Protocol and Jury Trial Guidelines are available on the
Courts of NZ website.
In your application you’ll need to provide:
evidence that demonstrates that they have failed to carry out their duties, breached our Act or the constitution or acted in a manner that is incompatible with membership on the committee
evidence of any meetings (or attempts to call a meeting) to consider the proposed removal, and
evidence to show general support for the proposed removal.
