What does this mean for you?
If you file an application to the Māori Land Court or the Māori Appellate Court on or after 1 July 2025 , you will notice an increase in the fee you need to pay.
Prepare your application
Before you file your application, make sure it meets the
requirements of the MLC, the Act and the Māori Land Court
Rules 2011.
The Court worked by means of
written applicationsfiled in advance by Māori
people, for example to have title to their land
investigated, to have it partitioned, for relative
ownerships to be determined, for equitable
owners to be added to the title, and so forth.
Click the three dots to the right of the file name
and then select “Download”. The report will automatically download to the default download
location for your computer/device.
