The MāoriLandCourt Rules 2011 set out howwe operate, including howwe receive, review, notify, process, and conclude applications.
This practice note is subject to Part 16 of the MāoriLandCourt Rules 2011 (Rules).
3. This practice note applies to the use of the Special Aid Fund by the MāoriLandCourt and
the Māori Appellate Court (Court).

MĀORILANDCOURT CONTACT DETAILS
Applications should be lodged with the Registrar in the MāoriLandCourt District in which some or all of the lands or the subject matter of the application is located.
Use this form to apply to the Court for an order vesting part or all of any MāoriLand or General Land owned by Māori
in an owner or a person entitled to succeed to an owner for the purpose of a house site or to confirm an existing house
site (including a house that has already been built and is located on the land).
A brief statement as to the candidate’s strengths, qualifications, and experience showing his or her
suitability for the position should be sufficient.
