Over the holiday period, MāoriLand Court offices will be closed from 3pm, Tuesday 24

Historically, most succession applications were heard by a
MāoriLand Court judge.
Now, if your succession application is assessed to be ‘simple
and uncontested’, then it can be decided by a MāoriLand
Court registrar without a court sitting (unless you request to
be heard by a judge in a court sitting).
Personally, being able to serve by assisting Māorito achieve their aspirations for their whenua and presiding over claims byMāori under the Treaty of Waitangi is a great honour.
