She emphasised that Te Puna Manawa Whenua will also support the development of the whenua and the people who come to Court. While it is not a comprehensive statement of the law and does not bind judges, Te Puna Manawa Whenua serves as a guide and reference for judges to refer to.
Where a detertmination or order has already been made by a Registrar, affected persons may also apply to the court to seek a review of that determination or order.

Whenua Māori Service The Whenua Māori Service can assist Māori landowners with access to information about their whenua, to explore their aspirations, to plan for whenua development, and can broker and facilitate relationships with other organisations and agencies that will assist them with their plans.
