law”.
The Trick, as Justice Joe Williams’ says in relation to what he refers to as the the1st law (Tikanga Māori)
and the 2nd law (Western Concepts) in Aotearoa, NZ is that we need to find a way for the 1st and 2nd
laws to co-exist in the same space.
