You can search the database using the following categories:
• Block
• Document
• Management Structure
• Ownership
Searchby Block
You can use the block search option if you know either the block name, block ID, district, land status type, state, LINZ
title reference, or a combination of the options.
If you know that Christopher's block is, for example, Ruamata , but aren’t sure how his name is spelt, you can enter Christoper Crbb into the Owner Namesearch field and Ruamata into the Land Block Namesearch field to narrow the results.

If you see the block name you require appear in the list, you can
select it to finish entering it in the Block Name box.

• locating it visually with the Block Map (page 3).
Once you are ready, click “Search”.
