Please ensure you allow plenty of time for your request to be considered, as your application will not be lodged
with the Court until a decision on your request has been made.
These principles are:
• a trust should be administered in a way that is consistent
with its terms and objectives, and
• a trust should be administered in a way that avoids
unnecessary cost and complexity.
(3) Where the agreement is executed outside New Zealand, the signature of the transferor must be witnessed by:
(a) A notary public; or
(b) A Commissioner of Oaths; or
(c) A Commonwealth Representative; or
(d) A solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand or Australia; or
(e) A Justice of the Peace of Australia
(f) A practising solicitor, lawyer or attorney in the country where it is signed
