Once the successors have been determined, a meeting of successors will be held for them to vote on how they wish to receive and hold the land. Updated list of owners Te Kooti Whenua Māori is currently working on updating the lists of potential owners for the four SILNA Blocks.
A copy of the notice of the meeting given to the owners is attached (including any newspaper advertisement).

The minimum number of trustees for a reservation is two people (unless the trustee is a body corporate 7, such as a Māori trust board or a Māori incorporation). A trustee does not have to be an owner in the land.

Some are more lucky than that, usually in circumstances where they are something in the nature of an only child of an only child of large owner. The vast majority of Māori receive no income at all from Māori land.
