Chief Judge Fox announces the appointment of a Deputy Chief Judge and a new Judge to our Court, as confirmed by Minister for Māori Development Tama Potaka.
Prior to her appointment to the bench, Chief Judge Fox was a Lecturer in law at Victoria University and a Senior Lecturer in law and Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Waikato.
Governance entities In the context in which I work, we have a range of governance entities, from trusts to incorporations, but no matter what the governance structure is - whether it is an ahu whenua trust, a whānau trust, a whenua tōpū trust, a pūtea trust, a kaitiaki trust, or an incorporation - key governance skills and capabilities are required.
