One of the great advantages of establishing a marae, papakāinga, meeting place, recreational or sports ground, or wāhi tapu as a Māori reservation is that while the land is a Māori reservation it cannot be alienated.
The whānau trust AGMs follow the ahu whenua trust AGM i.e. they choose their representative away from the ahu whenua trust meeting, after hearing how it is being administered.
This form may be used to apply to the Court to confirm one or more resolutions passed by owners in Māori Freehold
Land or General Land owned by Māori who together are members of the same family and who have taken the
opportunity to meet together following a family gathering (such as tangi, wedding or reunion).
