The purpose of the National Pänui / Te Pänui ä Motu
is to provide noticeto interested parties of hearings
being conducted in, and applications received by, the
Mäori Land Court.
For
practical reasons, it is advisable to provide trustees two
to three weeks’ notice of meetings to allow them to make
business and travel arrangements.
(iv) Notice of hearing – while an applicant is not required to give formal notice of hearing to other beneficiaries
he or she is expected to consult with them and advise them of the application and when it is to be heard.

The authority given by an owner of an interest in land to another person to vote
on their behalf.
To submit a postal vote, the shareholder is required to send a
notice about how their shares are to be voted to the person
authorised to receive and count the votes.
