Our dispute resolution service is a free, voluntary, tikanga-based process where parties can resolve disputes related to Māori land confidentially, outside of a court setting.
As the first fully bilingual judgment issued in its history, it signals the enhancement ofte reo Māori in the Court. This, at a time when the nation is celebrating the 50th year of the anniversary of the Māori language petition, the 40th anniversary ofte kohanga reo and the 35th anniversary ofte reo Māori becoming an official language of Aotearoa New Zealand.
(ii) Consents of all trustees must be filed.
(iii) Consents must be evidenced by –
(a) completion of this form or
(b) consent at family meeting evidenced by minutes of that meeting or
(c) completion and production of separate forms of consent.
