Any final terms of trust are subject to confirmation by the Māori Land Court in accordance with sections 214 or 244 of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993. 5.
If an owner with Māori land interests is deceased, and probate, letters of administration or an election to administer the estate have been granted by High Court, or is to be obtained, you can use this form to seek a determination from the Court as to those persons entitled to a deceased’s Māori Land interests and an order transferring the interests to those entitled.

Use this form to file an appeal against a final decision or determination of the Māori Land Court. An appeal under Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 may only be lodged within 2 months from the date of the decision or determination, unless accompanied by an application seeking leave to appeal out of time on Form 1.
Section 218 of Te Ture Whēnua Māori Act 1993 contains a list of Māori community purposes to which income from the whānau trust may be applied if provision is made in the trust order.
