The MāoriLand Court (Te Kooti Whenua
Māori) is the New Zealand court that hears
matters relating to Māoriland.
After Part 4 searches had been carried out at the MāoriLand Court I learnt that in 1967 an uncle of mine had appeared at the MāoriLand Court and had succeeded to some interests in the name of his mother and father (my grandparents).
Use this form to seek Court confirmation of an instrument or agreement of sale or gift of MāoriLand;
or to confirm a resolution of assembled owners to transfer MāoriLand by way of sale or gift.
Now, landowners and other court users can choose to resolve
disputes related to Māoriland through a free tikanga-based
dispute resolution service provided by the MāoriLand Court.
