The purpose of the National Pänui / Te Pänui ä Motu is

Court.
mai i tētahi whenua Māori, ko tētahi rānei
e whai mana ana ki tētahi whenua tuku iho,
ka āhei ki te tono noho whenua. Ko te nui o
te tono noho whenua, kia kore e nui atu ngā
hea a te kaitono, i roto i te poraka, ka taka
mai ki a ia.
This includes the many applications that ought to have been heard in May but were not set down due to the May Pānui not being finalised before the lockdown. At this stage it appears that the National Pānui will recommence in the next month or so.
