If for whatever reason, an appointed lawyer can no longer act, then subject to a direction from the Court a new application is required for any replacement lawyer to be appointed. 24. That said, if the replacement lawyer is within the same firm or Chambers as the departing lawyer, then no further application is required, unless directed by the Court.
