Use this form to request a confirmed search of interests that may be held in the name of any deceased person who may have interests in Māori Freehold Land.
Where a determination or order has already been made by a registrar, affected persons may also apply to the court to seek a review of that determination or order.

However, from my own personal experience the benefits are there and I would encourage persons, when bringing succession applications, to seriously consider the formation of a whānau trust.
