Different time frames for filing may apply to appeals under other Acts. This form should not be used if the decision or determination of the Māori Land Court is an interim or preliminary decision in which there remain outstanding matters for the Court to address.
In this situation, a Judge will need to approve the application for rehearing. The application will be heard in the court again and the new evidence, information, and circumstances will be considered.
Applications that do not have a prescribed form in the rules must be completed using this form. This form is designed to be generic and allow for different types of application under Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 and other legislative provisions.
