Any member of the preferred class of alienees who wishes to be considered by the owners as a prospective purchaser of the land must give written notice of his or her intention to pursue the right of refusal at the hearing of the application. That written notice must be filed in the Māori Land Court no later than 4.00pm 22 September 2025 .
For any such appeal or rehearing: (a) Where a lawyer has been appointed on application by a party, a new application must be filed in advance of any appeal or rehearing.

Different spelling of names: landowners often have more than one name, and not all of those names may have been known when the initial application was submitted. Other succession decisions: a succession applicant might inherit more land interests from another whānau member after the initial application has been decided.
