who claim(s) to be entitled to an interest under the will or on the intestacy of the deceased person
The Court has made a successionorder and additional interests of the deceased person in Māori freehold land have been
located.
At 2025 Chief Judge’s MB 373-390 (4 February 2025) the Court made orders amending a successionorder to Teone Karepe I or Hoani Karepe at 32 T 117-119 (30 May 1972) and cancelling a successionorder to Porokuru Te Kiwi at 155 ROT MB 234 (30 November 1970).
The “exceptional initiatives” (as I term them) that do require Court orders are sales,
long-term leases, change of status, title reconstruction and improvement, and
occupation orders.
