Chief Judge Fox has been the presiding officer for the Waitangi Tribunal on the Aquaculture claims, the Te Arawa Mandate and Settlement claims, Central North Island Stage 1 claims, the Te Kohanga Reo claims and the Te Rohe Potae claims.
(e) As soon as reasonably practicable after the house is established on the Site,
the Occupier shall apply to the Māori Land Court pursuant to section 18(1)(a) of
Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 for an order determining that the house is
owned by the Occupier.
Where the default duties listed in Schedule 1 conflict with provisions made in Te Ture
Whenua Maori Act 1993, the duty has been amended or expressly excluded.
When the court reviews the trust, it may:
(a) make directions to the trustees;
(b) confirm the trust order without variation;
(c) vary the trust order; or
(d) make an order terminating the trust.
