The purpose of the National Pänui / Te Pänui ä Motu is
to provide notice to interested parties of hearings being
conducted in, and applications received by, the Mäori Land
Court.
It’s focused on facilitating the use and
administration of the land for the benefit of an iwi or hapū.
Under section 210 of TeTureWhenua Māori Act 1993, trust assets must be held for Māori
community purposes.
