In either case, however, any adopted child

not entitled to succeed to any interest in
the Wi Pere Trust greater than a life interest,
unless he or she is also related by blood to
Wi Pere (note that provisions of Section 2 of
the Māori Purposes Act 1991, relating to the
Wi Pere Trust Estate, override the provisions
of the Adoption Act 1955).
