intended amendments are designed to provide
a strong platform for Māoriland owners, to
give Māoriland owners more autonomy and, if
they so choose, support to realise the economic
potential of their land.

Māori freehold landMāori freehold land has gone through the MāoriLand Court (or what was known as the Native Land Court) to be divided into blocks and converted into freehold titles.
