WHAT IS THIS FORM FOR?
Use this form to file an application to the Chief Judge of the Māori Land Court to exercise their power under
section 44 of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 to correct a mistake, error or omission on the part of the Court or
in the presentation of the facts of a case to the Court.
Your ap lication may be determined by a Registrar if it is simple and
ncontested, as described in section 235A of Te Ture Whenua Māori A 1993. If your application is determined by a Registrar, you will
ot need to attend court.
The appointment of Dr Ruakere Hond as a Pūkenga to assist the court, under s 32A of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, provided the level of care required in the matter and one the Court is extremely grateful for.
